We are pleased to announce the release of Insight v6.2 + LUNA. It is an especially exciting release as in addition to enhanced features, it also includes the completion of the LUNA Commons development.

V6.2 Release Highlights

LUNA COMMONS
Institutions can now independently publish collections to the LUNA Commons as well as aggregate collections from the LUNA Commons. While most other collection building tools create isolated collections we’ve built a system which allows institutions to easily share and promote their public collections.

It also means we’ve made it easy for institutions to gain access to free, valuable content just by upgrading to Insight v6.2. As our clients upgrade to v6.2 the list of available free collections will continue to grow. To see what is currently available visit www.lunacommons.org.

MEDIA GROUPS
We’ve added the ability for users to quickly check the content of their Active Media Group via the new Active Media Group Panel while browsing and working with content. Users can now also quickly change their Active Media Group using an easily accessible pull down menu.

PowerPoint export isn't just for Presentations anymore, Media Groups and their associated data can now be exported into PowerPoint.

DISCOVERY
We’ve built a new, more intuitive Advanced Search and added wildcard searching. Users can also now perform a keyword search in the Media Panel of the LUNA Workspace.

PRESENTATIONS
It’s faster, it’s stronger, and it’s fun to use. We’ve also improved the playback speed for presentations and added associated data export to PowerPoint.

SHOW IT OFF
Go full screen: we’ve added Forward and Back buttons on all pages.
